The BBC Broadcasting Network has called upon YouTube for immediate censorship of television broadcasted shows uploaded by a specific YouTube member.

The concerned member, NickFromFulham, did upload and post BBC aired television programmes in order to make them available for viewers worldwide through a broadcasting network such at YouTube.

Youtube subsequently suspended the account of said member and blocked YouTube viewers from watching the uploaded programmes.

While the BBC network has not provided viewers with any sound way to watch or download the shows, namely QI, Never Mind The Buzzcocks, Mock The Week, and others, they refuse to allow fans with inaccessibility to UK television to watch the programmes.

By not allowing NickFromFulham to record and rebroadcast the episodes, the BBC network infringes upon NickFromFulham's rights to speech through sharing information, while in fact by sharing the media NickFromFulham was helping popularize the BBC's own programmes.

Namely, this act on YouTube's part was neither necessary nor proper, and a violation of free press and broadcasting through Internet censorship.

WE, the undersigned, support the right to media and freedom of choice, and call on BBC Broadcasting to end censorship on the aforementioned videos.

WE, the undersigned, petition YouTube to unban NickFromFulham, the concerned member, and redistribute all recorded videos and rights to upload media freely.

WE, the undersigned, agree not to surrender our rights to freedom of speech and petition, and likewise choose to retain our right to freely record and share media through channels such as YouTube.
