Garages are to be used for the parking of the number of vehicles the garage was designed to accommodate and storing miscellaneous personal property.

Excessive storage which prevents the parking of the number of vehicles which the garage was designed to accommodate is prohibited. No garage shall be used or converted to any use which prevents the parking of the number of vehicles for which it is designed.

Owners/Residents and their guests may only park vehicles in the common area designated parking spaces only after the owners/resident/s garage has been filled to its intended capacity.

This is not a rule in which we can abide fully. The garages were not designed to be able to accommodate more than 2 compact vehicles and that is only in plan 2, 3 and 4.

Plan 1 has its laundry facilities located on the far end of the garage near the outside facing door. There is not sufficient room to park 1 vehicle in the garage and be able to also do laundry. This said, it is impossible to park an SUV or truck (1) in the garage without hitting the piping that runs on the outside of the exterior of the walls to support the laundry facilities.

This is impossible to be able to park any vehicle in the garage without moving it several times daily to accommodate laundry. These garages were not built for larger size vehicles and can not be expected to house them in any of the plans.

The general consensus agrees that parking in the driveway is sufficient and should not be considered an issue as it does not impede traffic and it is our private property that we pay our mortgages to have the right to park our vehicles.
