At the April 9, 2013 meeting of the MSBU the subject about the drainage issue along Southwind Drive in Bluewater Bay was brought before the Board Of Directors. The Board was asked if the problem of standing water and ruts from vehicles could be addressed.
The public was informed from the Board that the situation there has been brought to the attention of the Okaloosa County Commisioners on numerous occasions over the past three years and that the Commisioners didn't feel it to be a high priority situation.
We, the undersigned, call on the Okaloosa County Commisioners to make this situation a high priority.
The standing water, we feel, is a health hazzard to our community.
With the rainy season upon us, the area turns into a breeding ground for mosquitoes. Also with the area being used as a mudding area for 4-wheel drive vehicles we feel it is a danger.
