It has come to attention that the sorority Zeta Phi Beta, at California University of PA, is planning events to raise funds for March of Dimes. First of all, I would like to say that I deeply respect Zeta’s principles of strong sisterhood “regardless of race, creed, or color.” However, a number of reports have arisen about March of Dimes having pro-abortion ties. Particularly with Planned Parenthood, America’s largest abortion provider who was recently caught selling the body parts of babies they aborted for profit. I myself was shocked to find that March of Dimes had ties to Planned Parenthood, and even went as far as giving grants of funding to Planned Parenthood. There is also reason to believe that March of Dimes supports experimentation on live babies in the womb and on tissue from aborted babies, as well as embryonic stem cell research. Therefore, examining the evidence which suggests that March of Dimes supports a number of activities and organizations which disregard the dignity of the some of the most vulnerable members of the human population (the preborn). As a fellow student of California University of Pennsylvania, it seems that this would spark great controversy towards CalU, as well as Zeta Phi Beta, and that it would be a grave violation of human morality. Therefore, the students and faculty of CalU, should refrain from supporting March of Dimes and any other such organizations in any way. We, the undersigned, call the students and faculty of California University of Pa to not allow Zeta Phi Beta, or any other campus-sponsored organization to in any way support March of Dimes, or any related organization, on the grounds that their ties to Planned Parenthood are gravely immoral and would cause the university great controversy.
