PCAL wants to move first floor residents to a different floor dining room.

We, the undersigned, oppose the new dining room proposal that would move residents of Suite 1 to dining room 2 for their meals. It is already difficult and painful for many residents on this floor to walk to the first floor dining room.

Currently access to the second floor is by two elevators with a capacity of ten people or the stairs. This would require a minimum of 4 elevator trips to transport 40 people. Then they still have an additional distance from the elevators to dining room 2. The elevators also have a long history of malfunctioning. The stairs would be impossible to use for most residents.
