Michael J. Piron Sr, a 40 year old husband and father of three was killed On November 8, 2003, on his way home. His vehicle was struck by a 21 year old intoxicated Eddie Wilson in a stolen vehicle that ran a stop sign killing Micheal instantly. Eddie Wilson was apprehended by witness of the crash after fleeing from the scene.

Michael was one of nine children and proud to have just welcomed his youngest son into the world just 4 months earlier. Michael was loved dearly by his family, friends and anyone who had the honor of knowing him.

Little did anyone know Michael’s trip home that day would prove deadly and the decisions that Eddie Wilson made leave him responsible.

We, the undersigned, are concerned citizens who ask the New York Department of Corrections Parole Board deny the parole/release of Eddie Wilson, convicted of manslaughter and perjury on June 4, 2004. In addition we ask that upcoming parole hearings in the future be denied. Wilson deserves to serve the maximum time of his original sentence of 6-18 years in prison, with a release date of November 5, 2021.

The nature of Eddie Wilson’s crimes, as well as the fact that he perjured himself in court should rule out any consideration of early parole. In addition, his lack of remorse during the period following his crimes shows his reckless character.
