The residents of Yarrabilba and Surrounding Areas are increasingly fed up with the manner in which we have parcels delivered to us by the Australia Post Contractors.

The issues reported by residents include but are not limited to:

* Residents are home when the parcel is to be delivered and only they receive a notice in their mailbox requesting that they pick up their parcel from the Australia Post outlet in Waterford.

* Often no attempt is made to deliver the parcel - just a collection card in the mail box.

* Often a single beep from the Australia Post Contractor's van can be heard - then a collection card in the mail box.

* Parcels are occasionally thrown at front doors from the Australia Post Contractor's van.

* Parcels are sent to Australia Post Waterford when Australia Post Jimboomba is closer.

We, the undersigned, call on Australia Post to improve the method our parcels are delivered to Yarrabilba and the Surrounding Areas.

We hereby request that the Australia Post Contractors desist with their unethical behavior and deliver our parcels in a manner which would allow us to receive them at home.

We also request that a collection card only be left after a reasonable attempt to deliver the parcel has been made.

Furthermore we request that parcels are taken to Australia Post Jimboomba and not to Australia Post Waterford.
