Due to the lack of information the dolgeville central school isn't letting out about there own bus driver's. We have an irresponsible bus driver. You may be placing your children on this specific bus. He has been endangering the welfare of all children by going into work still under the influence of alcohol, he also uses tabacco products while driving witch is suppose to be a tabacco free environment. He has violated restraining order's, he has harassment charges he has stalking charges. He also uses his personal cell phone in the workplace and while he is operating the school bus. For instance he had got behind the wheel of the school bus backed it out and hit the guard rail while under the influence of alcohol just to hide his truck from the Dolgeville police this has been an on going matter for numerous of months. This matter has been taking lightly with just a slap on the hand. There has been bus driver's fired for using profanity off duty. There has been bus driver's suspended for three weeks due to traveling a side road to get to a game. There has been bus driver's suspended for accidentally side swiping a car in Dolgeville. This matter has been brought to the head of the transportation department numerous of times and not once has he stepped up or interfered he never took over his bus route or he never had this bus driver drug screened so us as parent's can rest assured that our children would be safe. Yet this driver has been sent to rehab and is still driving the bus without any drug screens. He was sent to a light duty rehab and still the school allows him to drive the bus. With all this driver has done on school grounds plus what he has on his record they have taking it to lightly and needs to have harsh punishment like all the other driver's. He shall not be treated differently due to his job title. Let's work together so we can rest assured that our children are safe on there travel to and from school. This petition is to get as many parents on board on what is going on behind closed doors. As you sign or comment to this petition we will be sure to take it to the school board as you yourself can take your concerns to the school administration. Thank you we pray that we get justice.
