Recent discussions with Canterbury Council have informed that a footpath is proposed for the grassed side of Francis st . The council says it has not got the funds to do this. If you have not already noticed that practically all of Earlwood has been upgraded or new footpaths installed.
Francis st has been overlooked. We as residents of the street and surrounding streets would like the council to lay this footpath as we feel it is a hazard to the residents who walk home from school, work or shops.
We, the undersigned, call on Canterbury Council to install a new concrete footpath on Francis St Earlwood, as grass proposes a hazard to pedestrians who walk home from school, work or shops.
