Complete Re pavement of Dunedin Drive Thomasville Georgia

Dunedin Drive is a residential heavenly traveled paved road which is over 50 years old. The public road has been is serious disrepair for over 17 years, it is currently in deplorable deteriorating condition with severe root, asphalt decay, large central pot holes, cracked and spider cracks conditions, several uneven cement patches, serious road dips, lifted curbs and driveway easement raising problems.

The road condition is responsible for several personal injuries of several people at least one resulting in a law suit against the City of Thomasville. The residents of Dunedin find it difficult and dangerous to ride a bike, push a baby stroller, pull a wagon or even walk (during the day) without constantly watching where they are walking in the street from one end to the other.

The street is completely unsafe to anyone including automobiles during the night as it is a virtual mind field of trip and fall hazards. Automobiles are constantly thrown from side to side on the majority of the road. Some of the dips are enough to loose control of the automobile. The road is severely damaged on every area of the street and not just the areas adjoining the curbs. Residents are being informed that the city can not fix this street due to an open law suit. This is totally unacceptable. Settle the law suit and fix our street before additional litigation results.

We are aware that we are #76 out of 2,000 for repaving but do not except a delay any longer to repave not patch our street. The condition of the street has caused property values to drop as documented on the sale of the last 5 homes at selling prices well below market value.
