I am looking for interest in my plea...... I am applying to council to buy lease or have part of the road closed to traffic in "Simmons Street" I do not intend to block off access to any properties already regulary using the road to get from their properties to the Macdonald street ....... as the Koala's for obvious reasons tend not to go past this point anyway....... from the back of my property and heading down towards the bottom end of River Street we have a cooridor of gums and no traffic ... making it the perfect road for "Humphrey" "Big Ted" and their families to reside ..... as we are rapidly losing nature ... I am seeking community support to help me save this part of our Koala habitat ........ I will be creating a page and a petition ...... just putting this out there to see if I have back up....... Support Jo and Peter Boucher of 11 River Street Broadwater Nsw 2472 0423395440... ..... in their plea to save the Koala Corridor,,,,,, which adjoins their River Street property ... being "Simmons Street".......... which runs parrallell to River and Cook streets from beginning to end ........ This side of the road currently is not being used or maintained for local traffic other than emergency ........ We would like to keep it this way ... and if agreed upon .. lease or buy some of it to improve conditions for our healthy endangered Koala's.........
