Live Rogue... the proposed new slogan for our little town of Grants Pass despite public outcry last year the city council has agreed to vote on this being our new slogan on April 6 2016.
At a cost of $24k a month to have developed this, paid to Jon Bowen recent transplant from California for the duration of 3 years for city branding at a total cost of of $864,000.00! In addition to these costs which are paid with Public Monies with no accountability there will be a $80k to change over all stationery signs etc... according to Dennis Roler councilor.
If you agree that this contract with Jon Bowmen should be terminated and the slogan for Grants Pass should remain as "It's the Climate " as well as spending Public Monies in a better way to suit the public's needs such as law Enforcement, and cleaning up this town, please sign this petition. Let our voices make a difference. We shut this down last year... we did not cancel this outrageous contract and this irresponsible spending of Public Monies. We have to do Something!
We the people of Grants Pass can make a difference.
We the undersigned call the Grants Pass City Council to keep our city slogan as it is, "It's the Climate".
No further Public Monies should be paid to change our city slogan and the citizens of Grants Pass call for such spending to end.
We also call for the contract to Jon Bowmen and any entity he is affiliated with for city branding to be terminated.
