Captain Swing did some marvellous work back in the 19th Century, but it went uncredited.
It's time that someone put this right and also started some new Swing Riots to show those threshing machine owners who's boss!
We, the undersigned, call on the British Government to give Captain Swing some recognition, preferably a knighthood. We also want our friends in the USA to help us give him international recognition.
Finally, we believe that threshing machines are the cause of the Credit Crunch, so will be staging Swing Riots until these are replaced with human labour.
