Communism is probably the most cruel and evil power since the human history was recorded. In the past century, there have been billions of people murdered, killed and persecuted by the communist regime. People in the country of freedom and democracy like Australia should never ever forget about it, and always teach our next generations to remember this page of history.
World-widely, Communism is fading , it is away but still alive, and this monster is awaiting its chance to regain its power to rule the world again. The danger of Communism is existing and never too far away from us. The Australian ABC "Four Corners" program 《 Power and Influence》on 05/06/2017 only revealed part of the ugly Communist existence in our country. We Australian citizens must keep alert and do our best to protect Australian value, freedom, democracy and our way of life.
Currently, In the US, Russia, Canada and some other free countries have already built a Memorial to the Victims of Communism, or are building such a memorial. Australia, as a country of migrants and numerous victims of Communism, should follow suit.
We, the undersigned, call on the Australian Government, ( all political parties), to build a Memorial to the Victims of Communism in Canberra.
Australia is a country, the population of which consists of a huge number of the victims of Communism. Also, many many young Australian soldiers dedicated their valued lives in the battles against Communism, in order to protect Australian values, freedom and democracy. We should not forget them.
Currently, the realistic danger and ugliness of Communism still exists and has never been too far away from us. The ABC Four Corners program
Currently, in many countries such as the US, Russia, Canada etc. have already built such a memorial or being built it. It is important and imminent that we Australia follow suit.
