Brutal Rape and Robbed Crimes at Dump up beach

Dump up beach is often a target place when it comes on to robberies and rape crimes, especially when it gets dark. Due to the fact that there is no form of security there, n not much street lights. So theives and rappers tend to hide in the dark n seek persons to prey on. Targets for rape n robbery are not only persons found on the beach but also passer bys walking along the street side. I am pretty sure I am not the only person who found this to be a concern. An article was written in The Star on August 22, 2017 stating that dump up beach needs some fixing up it was also stated that "person's in authority should pay attention to prevent incidents such as robberies and rapes". I myself know above 5 persons who was eith rapped or robbed in this particular area. This place needs some fixing up. It needs to be a place of security where persons can go and have a good time. I myself could also be of help in beatifying (beach clean ups) the place so it can be better for us all.
