The STi versions of all Subaru models has been well sort after since their inception.
The Forester community is a large base here in Australia and we believe there is enough room for the STi models.
Subaru Australia is yet to import ANY Subaru Forester STi versions to Australia while other models have had their STi counterparts imported in by Subaru Australia in the past until present.
The private import stream has been the only way to bring in genuine Subaru Forester STi's in the past, change this and help lift the model line to be on par with other model lines.

We would like to show you there is a demand for the SH9 STi...
Here is a list of signatures of those who would like to see the SH9 STi on our shores.
We understand the logistic and legalities that platform would have to pass through before even landing here in Australia as sell-able customer vehicles, but we would appreciate if you could look into this for us and for the Subaru community.
We also understand that the SH9 STi hasn't been officially announced, but as soon as it is, I'm sure all of the signatories will be pleased to see the new vehicle nearing the first production models.
Please consider strongly bringing in the SH9 STi to Australia.
