As of current MW3 on PS3 has been full of hacked lobbies. One of which gives you an "Infection" which changes your gun position, moving it forward, as if you had an increased FOV.
This change is actually good, and has been asked for by gamers for a while. If you do go ahead to like this (Available on pc) and wish for it to be brought too console.
