Edies@Follies have been closed down in Hythe, kent because of a noise complaint despite it being in a basement and on the main high street where there are several more pubs and resturants.
We feel that this has been a big mistake as Edies was being run by an amazing couple who are dedicated to Hythe and the residents there.
We want Edies back open as we feel there was a vindictive complaint of no substance.

We the undersigned call for the decision to close Edies@Follies to be revoked by Shepway District Council.
We feel the complaints were vindictive and false.
Edies@follies is set on a main road in a basement underneath a restaurant where there are many more restaurants, shops and pubs.
Hythe needs a bar that caters for all ages and gentler clientele and Edies@follies fitted that bill.
This place was run by the most amazing couple who wanted to provide a warm, safe and friendly place for people to enjoy.
Please sign the petition below so we can try to reopen this amazing bar.
What are we as a human race if we are unable to enjoy life.
This was not a rowdy or a place filled with loud obnoxious people but with mostly middle aged clientele who still wanted to go out and enjoy a drink or two in their lovely town of Hythe, Kent
