As downtown business owners we are concerned about our downtown. Seeking a solution.
Dear Common Council,
As downtown business owners we are concerned about our downtown. For the past few years the BID Board has been lacking in rational leadership. We have seen the Executive Director and BID staff, resign time after time. The status quo is no longer acceptable and by signing this petition, we acknowledge a problem exists and we are seeking a solution.
We hereby request that the Common Council do the following:
1. Remove the current President, Vice President and Secretary from the BID Board.
2. Encourage our Executive Director, Meghan Sprager and Environmental Manager, John Ward to remain in their current positions.
3. Assist the Board in reorganizing its bylaws to ensure 75% property owner representation.
It is unfortunate that we have not been able to solve our issues independently but now we are asking your help. Time is short and we must act quickly to stabilize this situation.
