Following the introduction of a ban on spitting by Enfield Council, many councils are now considering the move. The Residents' Association of Havering suggested this back in March 2012.
Despite a positive initial response, nothing has happened since.
This petition calls on Havering Council to expedite this suggestion and, like Enfield, introduce such a bye-law.
We, the undersigned, call upon the London Borough of Havering to introduce a bye-law to ban spitting in public.
