BAN LION TROPHIES AND BODY PARTS INTO CANADA
1) Lions have faced a 95% population decrease across the continent of Africa
2) From 1.5 million Lions roaming Africa in the 70's, their are only 20,000 Lions left in Africa or less currently which is prone to extinction.
3) The outcry of the death of the Lion from Zimbabwe, Cecil, exposed to all countries around the world what truly trophy hunting is.
4) Australia, Netherlands, France, and the US have permanently banned Lions trophy and body parts from entering their country borders.
5) Canada should play a big part in protecting the survival of the ''soon to be'' extinct Lion, by banning all Lion trophies and body parts of the Lion.
6) As the Lion numbers continue to be plummeting, they have been exploited and been taking advantage of by breeding lions for profit, and murdering them for money.
7) In South Africa, the event of ''canned hunting'' is a long process. Lion cubs are snatched away from their mothers as soon as they are born, and put into lion breeding farms. This allows tourists around the world coming to pet lions thinking it is conservation, while they are supplying a farm that is giving birth to lion cubs so they can be shot/sold later in the canned hunting process.
8) Lionesses in lion breeding farms are turned into ''breeding machines'', which are forced to supply more and more cubs to be petted and walked with ,to gain profit and later to be sold.
