Fireworks within the Hamilton city limits are not only irritating to residents who live within the city, but also to pets and small children. Pets cower and shake and can run away and possibly get lost or hit by a car. It causes a large number of pets a huge amount of anxiety as well as their owners. It creates noise that keeps residents awake, it creates a fire hazard, and also creates a mess on the properties of the neighbors of those that set off fireworks.
