Trevor is a product of Charles City County, VA. He attended school and played multiple sports at Charles City County High School in which he received many accolades; one being co-player of the year in basketball and another being the first athlete to receive 1000.00 points in basketball.

He received a full football scholarship to The University of Richmond to play division I football. He graduated in December, 2015 after a very successful academic and athletic college career. He competed in many football games during his college career; one being the semi-final national championship game in North Dakota in his senior year. In several of those televised games he made huge plays, and was called out and shown on television where his hometown Charles City VA was recognized by the game commentators.

He was recognized by local television stations by on air interviews and by articles in The Richmond Times Dispatch on multiple occasions. He made several radio appearances with his head coach, Danny Rocco, and was named player of the game by his coaches after the semi-final championship game in North Dakota. In the sparse spare time that he had he came home to Charles City and attended football practices and football games.

He has maintained close relationships with his high school coach as well as his college coaches and would be instrumental in helping stellar athletes receive the opportunity to be scouted by local area colleges. He was also recognized by the Charles City County, VA chapter of The NAACP with the Youth Leadership Award at their banquet last year; in attendance where the current high school principal, the current school superintendent and some members of the school board.

Trevor has much love for his hometown and wants to see the youth there become successful in whatever they chose to do in life. He wants to give back to the place that he learned so much from and has received so much love and support from. He wants the students to know that it doesn't matter where you come from or what your personal circumstances may be; that if you work hard you can achieve great things.

We are asking that the members of the school board allow Trevor to give back to his community which has given so much to him.

We, as citizens of Charles City County, VA hereby request that the school board approve Trevor Jones as head football coach. Trevor is a successful, outstanding and qualified product of our community. He attended school here and played multiple sports receiving many accolades; the most notable being a full football scholarship to play division I football at The University of Richmond.

During his college career he achieved great success and represented his hometown in a stellar manner both in the classroom and on the football field. He was recognized and interviewed on air by local television stations and in The Richmond Times Dispatch on multiple occasions as well as on radio with his head coach, Danny Rocco. Charles City was recognized as his hometown during several televised football games in which he made great plays.

In the very rare free time that he had Trevor came home and attended football practice to help out his high school. He has maintained very close and personal relationships with his football coaches; both high school and college. He wants to give back to his hometown that has shown him so much love and support.
