--> If one were to ask a young secondary student how to do any of the above listed circumstances, approximately 7/10 would desperately fail. We, as students, must work to reform the education system and create more applicable learning. These classes should not only be given in college. We, as the future, should be given the chance to start our cumulative and effective "life skills" early on.

Students nowadays face the challenge of having to comply to the allotted class choices provided by the given school. Nonetheless, reforms must be made. Yes, the current common core education is necessary and effective but there must be an addendum: higher learning to use post graduation. This sense of effective and applicable education should include entrepreneurship, classes on stocks/taxes/co payments/mortgages/loans , and overall survival skills. Every day one goes to school to learn about common core education but students should be given the ability to learn effective "life skills," being that by definition, education insinuates "an enlightening experience." Along with the many wonderful electives that most schools already provide there should be more appurtenant classes. This would not only effectively create incentive for children to stay in school but also aid in the world of preparation that comes post secondary graduation.
