I as a young student living and going to school in the UK would like student dress codes particularly in primary and secondary schools to be casual and whatever they want to wear, not having to wear a uniform.
My reasons are simple:
- many parents can't afford to pay out for school uniforms and many rely on benefits to pay for this.
- we as students are all different and should stand out as a unique individual and not blend in with EVERYONE else.
- we as students are contributing towards our society,community,town and country everyday as well as our well-being just by going to school every day of the week to build our knowledge, by doing this I believe we should be able to feel comfortable while doing so in our own unique, comfortable and chosen clothing.
