This Petition is to educate and teach our youth and future generations the importance of our planet and how to connect with mother earth and how to grow your own food.
I believe along with many others that having a school garden all across the country and possibly worldwide would help our planet thrive more, save the bee's and butterflies ETC. While teaching and getting out FUTURE generations outside and doing something that is very important.
We must take care of our planet and rid the toxicity in the air, rid the pesticides that are killing off so many insects we need in order to grow our food. We need to teach and show our children the beauty of raising plant life. What we can grow with just a few little seeds.
There are many benefits.
#1. Kids would learn something important and useful in life
#2 reconnect our children to be outside enjoying our beautiful planet
#3. When harvest time comes the school could have a market in the parking lot or other designated spot and sell the food and put the money back into the school and each year harvest the seeds.
We need to teach our children and stress how important our animals, insects and growing food is. So please sign the petition if you wish to see so change. And teach our children a better way than videos games and social media.
Let's get our children outside!!! Let's show them the beauty of our planet and how to nurture her and keep her thriving :-)
Let's all get together and try to get other's to join us in teaching our children the importance of gardening and connecting with our beautiful mother earth.
Let's get the attention of our state and school officials and try to encourage them to add a school garden and each homeroom will be assigned or choose a certain food to grow and individuals would each be assigned or choose a task to keep the garden going.
