A Petition to Pass the MENG 445 Course

Disregarding my general performance as a student and my interest in the course, Dr. Lotfi Gaafar literally decreed to me that he does not think that I deserve anymore than an 'F' in this course. To justify my purpose, I may, but have only few reasons but I see them feasible.
First of all, I attended this course from day one in the semester, and I wasn't a slacker. I only had to miss but a couple of days due to my illness, days which I severely regret. Secondly, I studied hard for this course during this semester, that I even got a very good grade in the first midterm.
Due to this illness I had which had prevented me from attending the classes, I was unable to fully absorb what was taught in those classes. However, I did try to get help from some of my collegues. Of course, since the profossor did not post any of the slides on his website as he did for the first part of the course that made me be able to get the good grade in midterm 1, there was nothing I could rely on except the textbook (and it did not help very much).
Thus, to be concise, if the professor had posted his notes on the web as he did for the first part, I might have achieved better in the second midterm. Thirdly, when I finally focused on what I have done wrong in the second midterm, the final was still out of its content and was even more difficult (or so it seemed to me). I did the parts which I understood in the course well, but I was unable to get through the other parts.
Thus, I did not do well in the final either. As a student, I was a hard working student, and I tried to do the assignments as hard as I can, though I was unable to present but 2/5 of the assignments. I attended all quizes, and practice problems, and desipite my interest in the course, Dr. Gaafar thinks I deserve an F.
Sir, forgive me, but this is not justice for me. I have been equalled with someone who does not attend classes, who did not do anywork, who did not show any interest in the course, and who could have simply left the final without caring whether or not they are to get an F. I never do that.
I am a hard working student, and you could ask any other professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department, and also in the Chemistry department (because I'm double majoring). They will tell you that I'm not an F student.
I call on the Dean, Dr. Medhat Haroun, to tell Dr. Lotfi Gaafar in the Mechanical Engineering Department, to change my grade from an F to D. I only want to pass since this was my last semester as an undergraduate, and I have suffered weaknesses and illness during this semester that may prevent me from taking or repeating any course during the winter.
I understand that he only looks at numbers, but I am not of his boarderline by much. According to him, a passing grade is about 360 out of 600, regardless of my fermance as a student (which does not count anything to him).
Thus, I call on your justice, and you can ask any other professor about me, and especially from the Chemistry Departmant.
