A cry to all with Mother's hearts, far away a very ill son

My beloved son is ill with an enlarged heart and chronic kidney disease in a prison (the past 4+ years) in a Japanese prison where he has frostbit every winter, and has lost over 60 of his 165 lbs. He was accused of having drugs on his person while living in Japan and sentenced to 10 years plus $45000 fine he can not pay. He works in a factory 6 days a week, eats only rice, and receives no medical help though they diagnosed the chronic kidney disease which could kill him without treatment. He was a Canadian athlete who went with his family to Japan in 2004 and has 3 children in Canada now who long for their daddy's return. The Canadian govt has failed to negotiate for his release and often kept his family in the dark. There is an international agreement that can be made between gov'ts to let prisoners go home to finish their sentence and since after years of no hope we reach out to you, to write (post free in Canada) to head of our country, himself a young dad, begging them to interceed on Timothy Francis's behalf. Tim is being held in Osaka Prison in Japan. PLEASE help us bring Tim home to his family. If he must die, he wants to be home to do that. Tim is only 44.
