T-Mobil has submitted a application for a zoning administrator's permit to install a wireless telecommunications facility consisting of a 70ft tall monopine with six panel antennas and a 600 ft equipment enclosure.

T-mobil has already installed towers in many residential areas in and around the concord area already, and neighboring cities. A survey of cell phone customers in the area revealed the existing coverage is good. This is about competition and future profits, not serving customers.

There are no conclusive studies that prove these towers pose no health risks from radiation. please join us in our fight against constructing these intrusive towers that will forever change the landscape of Concord. The effects of today's decisions regarding these facilities will have to be lived with for decades. If this application pass my concern is with the health,
safety and welfare of the neighboring homes and the children that attend the school that plan on housing the facility.

We, the undersigned residents of the City of Concord,California, attest that we are in opposition to the installation of T-Mobil's 70-ft tall monopine with six panel antennas and 600 sq. ft., equipment enclosure on or near school property at 1936 Carlotta Drive and call on the city council to deny T-Mobil's Application.

Impacted residents in these neighborhoods have good cell phone reception with their carriers which include T-Mobil.

The installation of the cellular antenna is inconsistent with the character of the neighborhoods surrounding this location. We would hope the City of Concord would discourage antenna or tower proliferation and protect against visual blight and damage to our community aesthetics.

We understand that the federal courts have already ruled that a municipality has no obligation to allow intrusive cell tower installations anywhere within its borders when adequate coverage already exists.

We believe T-Mobil and other cellular communications companies should be required to find more appropriate location in nearby commercial and industrial zones away from residential neighborhoods and that all alternatives scenarios must be exhausted to make a more appropriate selection on industrial or commercial land.
