We are looking to Moose Cree to make an initial investment into this project. If need be, we can also look into other avenues of financial support.
Please support a Recreational Facility for our community.
Such a facility would foster literacy, education, employment, physical activity, health and wellness and would help to build strong families and a stronger community.

We, the undersigned: ask Moose Cree First Nation to invest in building a Recreational Facility within our community of Moose Factory, Ontario.
The facility to have:
- An indoor swimming pool with waterslide for youth/adults, spray pool for children and a therapeutic hot whirlpool.
- A library available for all community members.
- Indoor and outdoor playground equipment.
This Recreational Facility would encourage literacy, education, and would promote health and physical activity within our families.
Training for staff would give opportunities for community members to acquire employment and skills.
*As an example, youth could be trained in Lifeguard and Instructor Certification in Aquatics and in turn, swim lessons could then be held for children in the community. This would build confidence, promote water safety and physical education.
*Another example would be that highschool students would be able to accumulate hours by working in the library.
There are many benefits to having such a facility be part of our community.
