Most residents in and surrounding the suburb of Boronia are concerned about the number of Building Applications for multi-storey complexes to be built on the average size block. Recently there was an application for a three storey multi-complex building of 15 units, right across the road and two doors down from approved applications of 6 two storey townhouses and 4 two storey townhouses. Talk about street congestion! If we don't put a stop to this, there's a good chance it could happen in your street too, or worse still, right next door.

The recent Knox Planning Scheme Amendment C62 has allowed this and it could result in our residential community becoming a concrete jungle at the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges! This will affect our community on many levels, such as over-crowding, parking congestion, noise pollution, lack of privacy and over-shadowing to surrounding residences... to name a few. This WAS NOT the plan from the beginning when the Boronia Structure Plan was created in 2005. Similar activity is happening in Ferntree Gully, Knoxfield, Bayswater, Scoresby and Rowville.

If you are against 3+ storey multi-complex residential buildings, then we need your support.

We, the undersigned, object to 3+ storey multi-complex residential units in Boronia, with reference to the Knox Planning Scheme Amendment C62 of the Boronia Structure Plan.
