Lower Point Vicente was deeded to the City of Rancho Palos Verdes by the federal government for the general public’s enjoyment IN PERPETUITY AS PUBLIC RECREATION OPEN SPACE.

Yet, the City is currently considering an application from the Annenberg Foundation to provide a dog and cat adoption and education center—a project that would occupy 14 acres of the site, including a 50,979 sq. ft. building for pet shelter, classroom, auditorium, exhibit, retail, and office space.

We, the undersigned, want the Rancho Palos Verdes City Council and Planning Commission to know:

This proposed building and this proposed use are inappropriate for this unique coastal bluff-top site.
