Lately at John Sevier Middle School, all grade levels(all students in the building) have had assigned seats at lunch. We have no idea what we have done to deserve this, and it seems like no one will tell us.
We would like to petition getting assigned seats at lunch because lunch is our free time, we deserve it after a long day of school, and it is truly ridiculous that we are being treated like this.
We, the John Sevier Student Body, ask that the administrators of our school stop the giving of assigned seats at lunch. We find it absurd that we would be asked to give up that free time to sit with those who we aren't acquainted with.
We ask that you please understand how we feel. We also ask that you only punish those few who cause problems, not the whole student body. We truly don't understand what we did to deserve this, and ask that you remove this punishment.
