A u-Vint or Ferment on Premise is a retail location that rents equipment and space which allows winemakers to make wine on the retail store's location. This is beneficial for apartment dwellers and people such as the elderly who find it difficult to lift heavy buckets and carboys.
U-Vints are popular in other provinces such as British Columbia and Ontario, with laws and regulations to over see them.
We the undersigned would like the government of Newfoundland and Labrador to change the present legislation and permit U-Vints to operate in our province.
