Anti-Bullying: the Oregon legislature should stop the violence and keep kids safe

Bullying is a very prominent problem in our country as the people become less modest and censored with their words and actions towards others. There are many cases where kids, that have their whole life ahead of them harm themself in some way because no one has spoken out and advocated for them.
At least 50% percent or more of kids are bullied today in the school, and those are only the ones who have the courage to admit this. In the state of Oregon, there is no law against these heinous actions of our youth to their peers. There needs to be.
The lives of others are at stake when it comes to finding an end to the emotional, physical, and mental turbulence that a child endures when they are bullied.
Kids are killing themselves, they slit their throats, tie their own nooses, and throw themselves off of tall land structures to just find an escape from the hell that their are put through.
We, the undersigned, call on the Oregon legislature to stop the violence and keep kids safe.
