The conflicts in the north of Africa of the last weeks have one of their causes in the up going prices of food products. Many people feel threatened in their existence. With hunger comes anger and protest.
The speculative trade in food products in international markets have to be stopped in terms of a peaceful and cooperative future among the nations.
We are urging the political representatives of all countries to take appropriate legal actions against this trade.
Today the speculation of food are pushing already disadvantaged people in even greater poverty and contribute, subsequently, social unrest and conflicts that affect the entire world community.
