The Governing Body of Graveney School are considering applying for academy status. This will remove Graveney from the local family of schools and the support of Wandsworth Council.
We oppose this. Graveney is a good school and believe there is no benefit to be gained from changing it. However, there are considerable risks involved if it becomes an academy.
We, the undersigned, call on the Governing Body of Graveney School to vote against becoming an academy.
