I have been a victim of Pet Theft (10 horses) and I know exactly what this crime feels like. I now have put together a petition and have a website that has been online 12 month..
This matter has been addressed in the USA with them bringing robust laws in. Now in this country the Lord Chief Justice has commented on Burglars, who steal very personal items he feels they should be given a higher sentence.
It now need to be reviewed, because there is nothing more personal than your beloved animals.

But the Government only take on board valid signatures and all of my contacts for awareness started on the 10th Jan 2010, so this is the the one that will be sent out with the media and press releases. The website and Facebook will be kept updated. Thank you for your time.
We the undersigned call on the British Government to 'Change the Law on Horse and Pet Theft'.
When the government ran the Number 10 site it had to be at least 5,000 so that or above is my aim. This is because Pets are Treated with the same Status as a TV or a video and this must change.
Whether you are a pet owner or not I would ask you to consider signing this petition.
