Too many school holidays break the learning chain and causes disruption to many parents' lives personal and public resulting in lack of quality time with families.
This could be solved by reducing the amount of holidays in the school year currently running at approximately 13 weeks plus.
Reduce the amount of school holidays in each schooling year.
Allowing for more learning and fewer disruptions to families private lives which often means using working annual leave entitlements in order to take care of their children when they could spend more quality time with them. Article 8 of the Human Rights Act allows for protection of private lives.
By reducing school holidays we may also see a reduction in Anti Social behaviour.
