Reduce Crime ! Hire a Felon or Parolee.
To many people with a criminal background are being discriminated against in the job market.
There is an unfair practice of disqualifying a person who had committed a crime in the past and now have become unfairly unemployable.
Every American deserves the right to work and be a responsible tax paying citizen. Please help by signing this petition to help create a law making it an illegal practice for companies to discriminate based on a persons past criminal history, and make it mandatory for large companies to hire a certain percentage of Felons or Parolees. Thank you.
We, the undersigned and Citizens of the United States do ask that a law be created to stop the employment discrimination of persons with a criminal background.
We believe that jobs for Felons and Parolees will help reduce crime, reduce prison population, decrease Recidivism, and help make neighborhoods and cities safer for the American Population.
