Please go to www.wikipedia.com and type in June Whitfield and you can see her life story and career in all its glory! She is a National Treasure and should be recognised as such by being awarded the title of Dame.
June is now 85 and is still working and loving it - she recently appeared in Doctor Who and Coronation Street. Most of the younger generation will remember her as the grandmother in Absolutely Fabulous.
I am her niece and would love to see her receive this honour for keeping us all laughing for over 50 years.
