Stand Together Against the New Development

Developers have applied for planning permission to build 200 houses (mixed private and social) on the Kingstand Farmland adjacent to Beggars Lane and Hinckley Rd.

If they succeed, this is the impact it will have on YOU and YOUR FAMILY:

· Potentially another 300 cars will have to use Hinckley Road/Beggars Lane and surrounding roads during rush hour

· Rush hour traffic will be hugely exacerbated

· Our children’s safety will be at risk from the increased traffic

· Increased levels of pollution

· A huge strain on the local amenities - especially the schools

· An increased strain on the current sewerage/drainage

· Loss of agricultural land

We can avoid this if we all act together and fight this unnecessary development
