The founding fathers believed in it, defended it, and so have many loyal and patriotic Americans. But recently, many groups, especially radical Christian fundamentalists, have sought to bring down the wall of separation of church and state coined by Thomas Jefferson. Not only is our freedom of religion in trouble, but perhaps our fundamental rights as humans.
They wish to squash the rights of all other religions but Christianity, and this cannot be tolerated.
These Christian fundamentalists also wish to infiltrate our youth, and take their religious choice away from the parents, the family, and even the child. THIS MUST BE STOPPED!!
END RELIGION IN ALL GOVERNMENT AND PUBLIC FACILITIES!!
We, the undersigned, wish that the separation of church and state and religion out of schools envisioned by our founders is respected by elected government officials.
