On Wednesday 8th December 2010 The Evening Chronicle suddenly and without warning shut down its entire forum leaving its contributors,many who had been members for years,without a voice.This was due to a tiny minority who for reasons known only to themselves chose to breach T&CS or post abusively.
They did not reflect the greater majority of members who enjoyed and contributed positively to the forums. And these contributors were given no indication that they were about to lose their forum.

It seems grossly unfair that so many are being punished for the actions of so few.People in The North East now have no means to have their say in their own local area.
We, the undersigned, call on The Evening Chronicle to re-instate the forum pages and give the people of the North East back their voices.
