On the entire west side of Chicago, there is no place made available for baseball players to train or hone their skills. Every Chicago Park supervisor has closed the door on the idea of providing time and space in their facility because basketball is the primary focus of the athletic community.
We are seeking support from those who understand the discipline and life skills that are offered through the game of baseball.
I support First Round Baseball Academy in their efforts, to have use of the Chicago Park District facilities for the year round training of youth baseball players.
