The speed limit on Bob Mitchell is too high for a residential street and the road is too narrow to allow for heavy traffic. It is being used as a through street between two major intersections not only by residents but by city transportation and emergency vehicles.
When we purchased our homes we never thought our children would not be safe riding their bikes on the side of the street or walking our dogs.
I feel the city should compensate the residents of Bob Mitchell by:
• Closing the intersection of Bob Mitchell and George Dieter, or
• Turning Bob Mitchell into a one way street, or
• Compensating the residents of Bob Mitchell for sound proofing their homes.
We, the undersigned, call on the El Paso City Council to control the amount of traffic on Bob Mitchell. By closing the intersection of Bob Mitchell and George Dieter. Or, turning Bob Mitchell into a one way street. Or, compensating the residents of Bob Mitchell for sound proofing their homes.
