Springtown library in Livermore, Ca has been voted by elected officials to be closed due to budget constraints.
Please help us keep this beloved library open. It is heavily used by children, the young, the retired, the teachers and elderly who don't have use of transportation.
The Springtown library is the only community hub in North Livermore. An empty building will become a shelter for crime and the homeless.
We, the undersigned, call on the city council to keep the Springtown Library open. The three days that the library is open isn't too much to ask the city. Please keep our library open. It is only 4% of the library's total budget.
