Too many times the airlines tell travelers that they will not be refunded their money for any cancellations. They tell us that there will be a credit on the person's account so they may travel within a year. Also, an additional amount of money will be paid if they choose to travel within that year. This rule is absurd.
Stop the airlines in the United States of America from keeping travelers' money when they cancel their trip or need to make changes.
Their current policy is that refunds will not be given to travelers who cancel their flight, but the ticket is good for a year plus an additional fee to be paid when the consumer decides to travel. What if the person dies, or can't travel within a year? They lose their money. They are a business like any other and should adhere to at least a 30-day money back guaranteed.
The economy is bad all around. The people of the United States work hard for their pay. Let's stop the airlines from ripping off the little people.
