Mental illnesses frequently are long term that usually impairs a person's functioning.
Several structural barriers in society can create additional hardship for mentally ill people by diminishing their opportunity to maintain the same quality of life as the majority of mainstream society.
We have decided to send a message to the Prime Minister to advise him of the seriousness of the need for more resources and support and to encourage a move to towards a more rigid link up with all relevant agencies involved with Mental Health.
We, the undersigned, call on the Prime Minister to address health structures currently undersupplied and to encourage more association between mental health agencies.
