United States of America

National Security is paramount. Terrorism has the potential to cause the most widespread economic, political, and financial damage.

Imposing mandatory life sentences is a cost-effective approach for the government, since the U.S. government can impose that all prisoners commit to at least 12 hours of punishment labour to make up for the incarceration costs, national security, and losses for terrorist victims.

The purpose of the petition is strongly ward off potential terrorists by fear of long, tedious imprisonment so they would not terrorize, rather than simply to punish or retribute.

Finally, most people would be in favor of stricter sentences, realizing the impact of 9/11.

To: U.S. Congress

Terrorists are symbols of evil to America and the rest of the world, ranging from bombing threats to extremely gruesome blood-shed and video-taped beheadings of innocent people. America has stood up for itself with its War on Terrorism. I, the creator, agree to make sure America takes a far tougher path, for the purpose of deterring potential acts of terrorism, and ultimately, for the successful prevention of future terrorism, rather than simply for retribution.

Any individual, group, or organization who commits any act of terrorism shall not only be incarcerated for a fixed time period, but also receive an automatic mandatory life sentence without the possibility of parole, regardless of the degree of the offense, and upon conviction.

Any individual, group, or organization who commits any act of terrorism leading to physical injury or murder, whether committed directly or through conspiracy, whether successful or attempted shall receive the death sentence by lethal injection or electrocution.

All incarcerated inmates detained for acts of terrorism shall be obligated to perform physical duties for a minimum of 12 hours per day. Monetary production for the value of the labour shall be used as a form of restitution for the political and economic losses sustained by terrorism, and the coverage of costs of homeland security. Furthermore, all assets owned by such offenders shall be confiscated, sold, and donated to victims of terrorism and their families.

For safety issues, all terrorist detainees currently serving sentences shall not be released as they have the potential to reoffend again, endanger society, and cause massive attacks. Alternatively, terrorist detainees shall be constantly monitored for the duration of their lives if the current law already warrants the permission for them to be released.

America shall not discontinue its War on Terrorism on any circumstances.

Sincerely,
